ABSTRACT Study findings indicated that 34 (68%) of the respondent were males and 16 (32%) were females. Majority of the respondent 25(50%) have their ages between 30-39, 13(26%) have their ages between 40-49, 8(16%) have their ages between 20-29, 2(4%) of them have their ages within 50- 59 and 2 representing 4% have their ages at 60 and above. Findings further revealed that 66% of the respondent said advanced diploma when asked the highest educational qualification in anesthesia, 11 representing 22% said degree, 4 representing 8% said certificate, 2 representing 4% said masters and none said doctorate. Again, 28(56%) said none when asked the highest educational qualification in other fields of Study, 13(26%) said degree, 6(12%) said doctorate and 3(6%) of the respondent said masters. When respondents were asked the grade, 20(40%) said CRA, 13(26%) said Senior CRA, 7(14%) said Deputy Chief CRA, another 7(14%) said Principal CRA and 3(6%) of the respondent said Chief CRA. Respondent were asked the Number of Years of Practicing Anesthesia,15(30%) said 1-3 years, another 15(30%) said 7-9 years, 11(22%) said 4-6 years,7(14%) said 10-12 years,2(4%) said 12 years and above and none said less than 1.Study findings indicated that 76% of CRAs in Brong Ahafo Region have high level of job satisfaction. Respondents have time to attend workshops and seminars outside the facility. Findings indicated that 98% do not have an anesthesiologist to work with and 86% of total respondents were not provided with all the adequate equipment and drugs to work with. Study findings indicated that 82% of the total respondents work more than 40 Hours in a week and are not paid overtime for working more than 8 hours per day. Study findings revealed that 90% of the total respondents do not have anesthesia rest room. On the preferred process of Job Satisfaction among CRAs in Brong Ahafo Region, 74% of the total respondents agreed that motivations be given equally to all CRA. Findings revealed that 50% of the total respondents said motivations should be given based on number of cases done per Month. Findings revealed that 78% of the total respondents said motivation should not be provided to CRA based on Academic Qualifications.
