INTRODUCTION:A Comprehensive care study of Miss. Florence Efua Drawaa held in Sunyani Regional Hospital, Ghana. Miss Florence Efua Durawaa is a five (5) year old Girl/child whose parent reside in Asuakwa- Sunyani in the Ahafo Region, Ghana. While she lives with her grandmother at Takuradi. Florence fell ill when she travelled with her grandmother to Sunyani for a funeral and was taken to the Sunyani Regional Hospital for treatment. She was admitted on the 6/10/2020 with the diagnoses of Cellulitis of the left leg, treated and was discharged home in good condition on the 14/10/2020 with nil complications. HISTORY OF THE CHILD:PATIENT PARTICULARS: Miss. Florence Efua Durawaa is a 5years old girl/child hailed from Asuakwa – Sunyani in the Ahafo Region, Ghana. A small Village along the Sunyani – Techiman road just before the Army Barrack. She was born at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital on the 3rd of July 2015 to Mr. Michael Mawuli a 31 year old man who is a Bar seller hailed from Dankyere – Obuasi but born and bred at Asuakwa – Sunyani Ahafo Region Ghana and Miss Mary Ziemmeh a 22 year old woman who is a Hair Dresser hailed from Bamaahun – Wa, in the Upper West Region Ghana but was born and brought up at Asuakwa – Sunyani Ahafo Region. Ghana.BIRTH, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL HISTORY:Miss. Florence Efua Durawaa was born through normal vaginal delivery with nil complications, and all reflexes present at birth and she weighs 3.2kg. She received exclusive breast feeding for 6 months and went through normal weaning for 2 years and as well received all her due Immunizations. According to Child’s mother, child started talking at 7 months old but starts to walk at 9 months. She started School at 3years and she is currently in Kg 2. She speaks English, Twi, and a bit Fanti. Child’s mother added that child has never fallen sick and admitted in the Hospital since she was born except this current/very admission.Child is currently staying with the Grandmother at Takuradi where she was taking to at the age of 2 years after weaning for continuous/proper care and as well to enable the mother go back to School as she was dropped out of School because of the pregnancy. She is currently the only child of her parent. According to both patient’s mother and grandmother (husband’s mother), it was confirmed that there are no known chronic diseases like Hypertension, Asthma, Diabetes, nor hereditary diseases such as Sickle Cell diseases or Mental illness, also no communicable disease among family members like Tuberculosis or leprosy. It was also confirmed that neither client nor any family members is allergic to any foods or drugs.
