Internal control systems are very important in any organization. With the machines, materials and even the money, nothing gets done better without effective internal control. A human being is dynamic in nature, for this reason human beings have to be controlled so as to enable the organization achieve it’s objective. The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of internal control systems on the profitability of organizations a case of sandvic ltd which is located at Kumasi (Ghana). The concern is how management and employees practice internal control systems in sandvic ltd. Descriptive data were collected from 57 participants. Questionnaire was designed using structured and open ended questions to collect primary data from employees of sandvic ltd. The result indicated that most of the employees have the view that internal control system is effective tools for both personal and organizational performance. The study concluded that for a better effectiveness and performance, possible changes about internal control systems should be made in the future.
